I'm alive
Yes, I’m still alive and kicking. I broke my promise and I have not been blogging actively every monday. Why? I don’t think I have anything important enough to write about. No, I don’t have low confidence. I do have things.

(It’s bad greek for “for you”);
Get the MP3 here
So I have been working on a new set. I call it Karnaughs Map. Let me know what you think.
Get the MP3, or if you want to try the CueDrop’ed version, go for this one
I haven’t blogged for a week or two now. I’ve been busy with things. I’ll talk about them in the order of the topic for this post. So first of all, I quit Opera. This will probably be news to most of you, even my colleagues. What am I doing now? Well on to my next point…
As of a week ago (October 3rd), Apple has started to “encrypt”:http://marv.kordix.com/archives/000927.html their artwork. The interface for getting the URL is the same, but instead of getting a yadda.600x600-100.jpg file, you get a yadda.enc.jpg file.
It’s monday again. Happens every week! zing! Yeah. So I thought I had something to write about today, namely “a post”:http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/2006/10/yesoperawebd.html on “Asa Dotzler’s”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AsaDotzler blog. It’s him whining about how the “Opera frontpage”:http://www.opera.com/ is a ripoff of Mozilla Firefox’s download page. Doesn’t this guy have smarter things to rant about? Pu-leez.
…the day I got sick, and filled with snot. I know of plenty of reasons why this day should be forgot. So it’s tuesday. I didn’t get to blog yesterday. I took the day off to do something fun! That is, I went to IKEA to help my friend carry a ton of things to her new place, and then I went to the vet to get my cat fixed. I’m snotty like hell. I managed to catch a cold sometime yesterday. It’s pouring down. On the upside, I’m actually getting work done. Oh and I got this cool “coffee grinder”:http://www.krups.co.uk/krups/All+Products/Coffee+Machines/Coffee+Grinders/Products/GVX2/GVX2+Expert+Coffee+Grinder.htm yesterday. It’s pretty cool. You fill in the beans (has a big compartment for that), select the fineness of the grind, how much you want and pretty much just hit go.
Today my boss gave me a “Kinder egg”:http://www.magic-kinder.com/mkv2/IT_it/changeLanguage.html. Inside there was a toy car. I call him Stanley. He enjoys long drives, oil checks and sitting on my Macbook’s speaker (pictured below). I’ve also gathered all the ports of i7AWF and made a project page for them.
With the release of iTunes 7, Apple made a bold promise of letting you download all the artwork you lacked, from your (ahem) ripped CDs. Like short shorts, I like free album covers. I’m sure a lot of people do. Unfortunately, the functionality seems premature and blatantly crippled. I wrote some libraries to fetch artwork from iTMS a while ago, but that was shut down. Now that it’s open again, I decided to write a new library to fetch artwork.
The keynote this year was as many say it, utterly disappointing. Alas, Apple had an event yesterday. Surely a big crowd had been anticipating this, and hopefully many got their hunger satisfied. (Bada-tisch)
It was an hour-event or so, as far as I could follow on those live-covered sites, and it was all about the media this time. In order of my excitement, they released a new version of iTunes, which is pretty cool. I really like the whole cover-art view it has going on, and I like the Aqua!'' interface, that's allegedly taking overAqua” as we know it. Nothing major, but it looks better. Leopard, I guess.
Wow. Can you believe I haven’t blogged since February 21st? So how come I haven’t? Good question.
I’ve been messing around lately, on how to make a nice pizza. I have a bad history of making pizzas that taste like nothing, but this new one I’m making, is actually quite ok. Read on for instructions w/ pictures.
