My Monday
It’s monday again. Happens every week! zing! Yeah. So I thought I had something to write about today, namely “a post”:http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/2006/10/yesoperawebd.html on “Asa Dotzler’s”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AsaDotzler blog. It’s him whining about how the “Opera frontpage”:http://www.opera.com/ is a ripoff of Mozilla Firefox’s download page. Doesn’t this guy have smarter things to rant about? Pu-leez.
Well I decided not to write a longer essay about how this guy is the dumbass of the year. There’s tons of people who fuels the fire over on the blogpost with comments. He’s getting his way by starting flamewars like these, targetting a popular subject such as browser-wars. Gee. I guess I’m fueling his fire just a little by writing this, but hopefully just a little. Have a good laugh if you read this, Asa. In other news, I’m heading to Holland this week! Heading down there with Katie wednesday evening, and we a plethora of parties lined up all weekend. Staying with my good, very generous, friend Remco, again. It will probably cost me a carton of marls, but its worth it by far. Oh, I was contacted by Adisson-Wesley/Prentice Hall (the publisher), and they want me to write a book, and be a freelance reviewer of upcoming books. I’ve been giving it a lot of thought, and I’ve slowly started writing down some paragraphs of what is later to be “The Zen of Programming”. I’ll write more about that later! Going home now, cooking up a big pot of chili and taking an evening with a movie, a glass or two of a good wine and just relaxing. My week is fully booked, so that’s that for me.
